As a coach, you accept the responsibilities of a teacher. Not only are you to teach bowling and its skills, but character development, sportsman-ship, team work, and pride in personal accomplishment.
Youth learn more from what we do than from what we say. It is imperative that you teach by example. In other words, while "on-duty" refrain from the things that you may do as an adult that we would discourage for children, i.e., smoking, cursing, etc.
